About our speakers:

Kelsey Hood-Christenson has dedicated the past 14 years to serving the community at Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, Inc., where she has held a variety of direct service and leadership roles. Currently serving as the organization’s President & CEO, Kelsey holds a Master of Social Work from Aurora University and brings deep expertise to her work in addressing complex social challenges. She has also contributed to the academic field as an Adjunct Professor of Forensic Social Work and continues to engage in both state and local initiatives to create safer, more equitable communities.

Ann Bruce is the Executive Director of Family Promise of Greater Beloit, where she leads programs that support families experiencing homelessness through prevention, emergency shelter, and stabilization services. With experience in social services, education, human resources, and nonprofit leadership, Ann is committed to strengthening community partnerships and developing innovative solutions to address housing instability. She is passionate about empowering families, fostering collaboration among service providers, and creating pathways to long-term housing stability.
